SOGO are pleased to be able to offer fully comprehensive insurance, subject to approval*, by way of our Fleet Motor Insurance Policy. This is available on vehicles through our Flexible Lease program to individuals, and businesses, across the majority of the vehicles we have available, and can even be flexed based on your monthly mileage needs.
It’s competitively priced to offer you a hassle-free Flexible Lease experience, and can even move with you should you decide to swap cars with us too. This means that once you’ve been approved you can have your Lease and Insurance costs through one convenient invoice.

Please note that we do not sell Motor Insurance policies, SOGO Mobility Limited are the policyholder and we simply add you as a named driver for the vehicle you are leasing only, therefore the policy will not be in your name but in the name of SOGO Mobility Limited.

All drivers need to complete a qualification form, whereby a background check will be carried out in conjunction with the DVLA. This will includes checks on claims information and your licence history.

What cover is provided?
Comprehensive cover is provided, meaning you are covered for loss or damage to the vehicle and any audio, navigation or telematics device permanently fitted by ourselves, subject to the policy excess, in the event of an accident.
The policy does not provide cover for general wear and tear, damage to tyres unless following a collision and mechanical, electrical failure/breakage or breakdowns.
What is the excess?
£500. This is the maximum charge in the event of a claim where damage is incurred to your vehicle and losses can not be recovered from a third party.
If the claim is not your fault, we will attempt recovery of the excess from the at-fault party.
Is windscreen cover included?
Yes, any claim is subject to the £500 excess and a maximum of two claims per vehicle.
Am I covered if the vehicle is stolen?
Yes, as long as the keys are not in or on the vehicle and all doors, boot, windows and sunroof have been closed.
Theft by deception is not covered.
Are my belongings covered whilst in the vehicle?
No, the cover should be arranged for any personal belongings under your home or contents policy.
Is breakdown cover provided?
Breakdown cover is already included in all SOGO Flexible Lease Agreements.
What can I use the vehicle for?
The vehicle can be used for social, domestic, pleasure, commuting and your own business purposes as long as your business is not an excluded trade.

What can I not use the vehicle for?

Where can I use the vehicle?
The vehicle can be used anywhere in the UK. If you are planning to use the vehicle outside of the UK, you must obtain prior authorisation and an additional charge may be applicable. We ask that you provide a minimum of 14 days’ notice.
Can other people drive my vehicle?
Cover can be extended to include other people but full details of these drivers must be given to ourselves and a check will be carried out. We will advise our decision once the check has been completed but other drivers are not automatically covered by the policy.
There may be an additional charge to add a driver to the Insurance policy. Please speak to a SOGO Team member to confirm.
Can I drive other vehicles?
No, there is no cover provided by this policy to drive other vehicles.
Does my vehicle have to be parked on a driveway?
No, but we do recommend that you keep the vehicle in a secure location and the keys kept in a Faraday pouch to minimise the chance of theft occurring.
Does my no claims bonus change the premium?
No, our policy is a fleet policy and therefore individual factors are not taken into consideration.
Will I generate no claims bonus?
No. Although, we can provide a letter confirming the duration of your hire and details of any claims incurred, or confirmation that you did not incur a claim upon request.
What happens if I change my vehicle?
We will arrange for the cover to change over when your vehicle is collected and delivered. A different premium may be applicable depending upon the class of vehicle.
How can I check that my vehicle is insured?
www.askmid.com allows you to see whether the vehicle is showing on the motor insurance database.
